Landing page
At first glance, I was hoping to see more on the landing page. Overall, I like the minimalist aesthetics and the choice of image.
Heading – The boldness on the heading can be changed to make it look like a title and add little more details without revealing too much.
Also make the interaction on the start a little bit more predictable. This can be done with subtle animation. Or small tests pointing people to click. Also, it would be nice if the new window opened in the different tabs. So your visitors can come back to your website and explore your website.
There is a lot of white space, so the image can be extended and make good use of the space. Or move the whole content in the middle. To make it look like a doorway to your website.
Navigation
I really like the boldness on the usability tab at the bottom right.
The links are interactive when I move my mouse over, that is also solid.
One thing I would love to play around is maybe make the navbar sticky, if you have long content and you want to go on a different tab. This can also be done with links in the footer.
About us page
I love reading the introduction, Its personal and appealing to audiences who love knowing about movies.
I would choose a more consistent color pallet. Two different types of pink makes it a bit distracting. Or you can play with the default pink and add more white to it and see if the tint works better to have right contrast.
Also add little animation on the star to make it seem like its clickable.
Blog Post
Awesome style of writing. The only feedback would be to add the longer text into smaller chunks as we learned in the lecture; the user’s online behavior has more urgency to go to the end compared to print.
Really liked the choice of having the next posts to read at the bottom of the post.
Posiel sections
I loved how you display the home pages of different sections uniquely, its creative and adds an interesting vibe to the website aesthetics.
